The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Jimon Ojugbele, as the winner of Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency seat in Ogun.

Ogun governor Ibikunle Amosun has undemocratically emerged the candidate for Ogun Central senate race , as he and ‘elders’ of the All Progressives Congress unveiled consensus candidates for the National Assembly.

ABEOKUTA   — SOME  governorship aspirants from Ogun East on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, yesterday, faulted  Ogun West Elders Council  for presenting a consensus candidate from the zone to the party in the state. 

The Ogun State House of Assembly on Tuesday rejected defection letters of two members of the House over failure to prove crisis or division in their party.

The Ogun Command, Nigeria Customs Service, said it intercepted 6,194 bags of smuggled foreign rice and 33 smuggled vehicles within the month of August 2018. It said the seizures were made at the Idiroko border and the adjoining communities.
