Three internet fraudsters, popularly known as ‘Yahoo boys’, have been sentenced to jail by a Federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta, for defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.

Aggrieved members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ogun State have revealed that the union no longer controls activities at motor parks in the state. The Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association in Ogun State, Rev Olusegun Folorunso, has said the association is in support of the N3,700 fee imposed on pupils in the Ogun State Government-owned secondary and technical colleges by the state government.

Pupils in Ogun State public secondary schools and technical colleges are to pay the sum of N3,700 per term, Gov Dapo Abiodun has said. This indicates a total of N11,100 for the 2019/2020 academic session.

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has expressed readiness to address the challenges of teaching Islamic Religious Knowledge and shortage of Arabic teachers in public primary and secondary schools across the state.
