News: Police arrest woman for throwing baby into pit toilet in Ogun state

21-year-old Amudalat Taiwo has been arrested for throwing a 12-day-old baby into a pit toilet - Taiwo claimed she did it because she was poor and the baby's father has refused to provide financial assistance - The baby's father has also been arrested by the police The Ogun state police command has arrested Amudalat Taiwo, 21, for throwing her 12-day-old baby into a pit toilet.

Foundation for Ota Police station was today laid by the Olota of Ota, HRM Oba (Prof.) Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege, MCIPR, MPRII, FHEA, Lanlege Ekun II amidst funfair and joy. The new Police station was approved by the Ogun State Commissioner Of Police, Ahmed Illiyasu during a recent visit to Olota of Ota in his Palace.
