The Olota of Ota, HRM Oba (Prof.) Adeyemi AbdulKabir Obalanlege, MCIPR MPRII, FHEA, Lanlege Ekun II, the Onitetiku of Owode, Ota,  HRM Oba AbdulWasiu Ogungbayi, Elejigbo of Ejigbo Elect, Prince Olawale Edagbeja, Onigbesa of Igbesa Elect, Prince AbdulAzeez Oluwatoyin Akinde tops other dignitaries who felicitated with Muslims across Awori land in this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The Olota who addressed congregation at the Muslim praying ground, opposite Ansar-U-Deen Practicing School, Ota congratulated them for holding forth one of the principles of Islam, having fasted for 30 days. He charged them to put into practice the lessons of tolerance, forgiveness and love for their neighbors which was learnt during the period of Ramadan in order to further reflect on their character and way of lives.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, has announced that the state have secured a landmark investment of up to $2.5 billion for Africa’s first Disneyland-style resort. While highlighting the state’s rapid economic growth and tourism potential, Abiodun revealed that Ogun’s economy has expanded from N3.5 trillion to N16 trillion over the past six years, ranking it among Nigeria’s fastest-growing economies. In a post via his X handle, the governor credited this growth to strategic investments in infrastructure, basic amenities, and tourism development, noting that Olumo Rock now generates about N20 million weekly following its renovation. The governor further disclosed that MAG Group recently visited Abeokuta and pledged to invest between $1.8 billion and $2.5 billion in hospitality and entertainment projects.
