A Magistrates’ Court in Ijebu-Ode on Tuesday sentenced two men, Michael Godwin, 24, and Yemi Odutosin, 24, to three months imprisonment each for assaulting officials of the Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE).

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Tuesday said it recovered a stolen articulated truck with registration number NSR 141 ZX at the Sango -Ota Toll Gate in Ogun. Mr Adekunle Oguntoyinbo, Sango-Ota Unit Commander of FRSC, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ota that the trailer was recovered on Saturday at about 8.00am.

Three men were find died, on Thursday, after being strike down by Thunder in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun. The police search team caught up with a 26-year-old woman who steal a three week old baby at Orile Imo last Saturday, where she was arrested and the baby was rescued. The death has been announced of renowned writer, wordsmith, public relations and advertising guru, Olawale Babajide  Obadeyi (Wally Jay) at the age of 56.
