A Newly Market Established At Ota

The newly constructed Aremo Ojugbele Daily Market recently opened at Otun, Ota is an incarnate of the old Oba T.T Dada market which was located in the heart of Ota. The Market has brought relief to the people of Ota, especially Otun, Osi, Itele and Lafenwa residents in that trading activities has been going on with ease of stress and uninterrupted daily sales, unlike Oba T.T Dada market that is situated along Ota-Idiroko road which comes up every five days.


VOA News made a visit to the newly established Aremo Ojugebele Daily market and one of the market executives, Mr. Shuaib Ganiu told our correspondent that, the market was created to brings all kinds of commodities closer to the people and ease the stresses inherent in their daily buying and selling, adding that the newly established market is the old Oja Ota reincarnate. He called on residents within and outside Ota to come and buy and sell whatever commodity they so wish as there are still vacant places that are not allocated and there are no extortion of any guise.

In another interview with a Buyer, Rev. Badmus Taiwo, he said that he is very happy and he also promised to patronize the market and also makes sure his wife gets an allotted place in the market. He further added he has the belief that things are going to change for the best upon the creation of the market as further developments are coming into Ota town.

While responding to an interview, Taorid Muhammed also known and addressed as Baale, said that Ota residents are very happy at the latest development because people will no longer stress themselves to get what they need for their daily living.

On the same account, a Seller in the Market, Olori Aisha Ojuko expressed her heartfelt joy upon hearing the news of the creation of the Market as she speedily came to get one of the vacant spaces to sell her wares and she also advised people around to keep spread the news of the newly created market for speedy growth of the Market.

In the same vein, another trader, Mr. Saheed Adeyanju said that the goods are cheap in the market and it is beneficial to people as essential commodities needed by people are being sold at cheap rates.
