OLOTA CAUTIONS ALAKE ON TRADITIONAL MATTERS AFFECTING AWORILAND

His Royal Majesty Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege today paid a Royal Visit to his subjects at Mesan Otta in continuation of his Royal Visit across township within his domain in Otta, Awori Kingdom.


The Baale of Mesan, Baale Muiz Odunoye led other community leaders to receive his Majesty at Mesan Primary School.



In his speech, he thanked Kabiyesi for extending the Royal visit to the ancient town which to him is long expected as people of Mesan had been looking forward to receiving their father in Mesan Otta.

He equally seized the opportunity of the visit to call the attention of Olota to the provoking move of Alake of Ake, Abeokuta in his failed attempt to install a factional baale in the area.

A community leader, Elder Alani Adetunji in his own speech, welcome the Olota of Otta and the entire members of Olota-in-council to mesan Otta, Aworiland.
He invoked the wrath of the land to punish all trouble makers in the area.

The Olota of Otta in his remarks thanked the people of Mesan-Otta for standing firm to protect their fatherland from desperate land hijackers.

He warned that no portion of Aworiland would be allowed to be taken by any group of individuals under his domain. He appealed to the State Government and all well meaning Nigerians to call Alake of Ake to order.



"He should focus his God giving energy towards the development of his people in Ake, Abeokuta South Local Government and stop interfering in traditional matters within my domain here in Otta, Aworiland". Olota advised.

Olota also paid a courtesy visit to the residence of an elder statesman in the community, Pa Isatoki who is in his 90's to thank him for his unalloyed loyalty to the course of Aworiland and his stand for justice and equity in the state.

Leaders of various Community Development Associations in the area led by Mr Mohan Pius were all in attendance to receive our reverred Royal Father, the Olota of Otta.
