THE QUADRANGLE HOSTS AARE ONA KAKANFO @ NANA HOTEL OTTA.


Popular media platform, Quadrangle played the Host to the revered Aare Ona Kankanfo of Yorubaland, Otunba Gani Adams. on Sunday, Auguat 18, 2019 at the prestigious Nana Hotel, Otta, to discuss the essence and significance of tourism and preservation of Art & Culture. 
As seen on the social media handle of the convener, Mr Wale Seriki posted photos from the event and announced the new title added to the feather of the revered Aare. He wrote:

Sunday 18th of August 2019 will go down in the Annals of Nigerian Tourism History as The 15th Aaare Ona KAKANFO of Yorubaland Chief IBA ABIODUN IGE GANIYU ADAMS was conferred with the title of "GRANDMASTER OF NIGERIAN TOURISM" for running over 18 different festivals in Yorubaland successfully.

Symbol of the title, a branded TALKING DRUMmanufactured by the Aloyinlapa Music Hub, was presented to him at a Cultural Banquet/Grand Reception held in his honour at the hotel by The Aare Atunluse of AWORILAND, Surveyor Chief SEGUN OSIFESO.

$2.5 billion for Africa’s first Disneyland-style resort - Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, has announced that the state have secured a landmark investment of up to $2.5 billion for Africa’s first Disneyland-style resort. While highlighting the state’s rapid economic growth and tourism potential, Abiodun revealed that Ogun’s economy has expanded from N3.5 trillion to N16 trillion over the past six years, ranking it among Nigeria’s fastest-growing economies. In a post via his X handle, the governor credited this growth to strategic investments in infrastructure, basic amenities, and tourism development, noting that Olumo Rock now generates about N20 million weekly following its renovation. The governor further disclosed that MAG Group recently visited Abeokuta and pledged to invest between $1.8 billion and $2.5 billion in hospitality and entertainment projects. The investment plan includes the construction of a Disneyland-style resort, hotels, water parks, and other leisure facilities, marking a major milestone for the state’s tourism sector. ...
