 1. Meet Kazeem Owolabi Aina


The 47-year-old graduate of Mining Engineering is a force to reckon with in the Chairmanship race of Ado-Odo/Ota LG. Having served as a Personal Assistant to a Federal Commissioner and a State Commissioner in his thirties, he believes he has the Political experience to run a Local Government. He has at two different occasions made attempt to represent Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in the National Assembly but was told to hold on.

Kazeem hails from Ota and was born into the family of Prince Aina Mohammed and Mrs. Saidat Adejoke of Ijemo-Isoloshi Royal family and Oke-Idota, Otun Ota respectively. He resigned as a Senior Mines Officer at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and currently runs Prince of Courage Nig. Ltd; a mining, haulage, and plant hiring company. He is equally a poultry farmer and believes strongly that he will reduce the unemployment rate through Agriculture if he becomes the Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.

According to him, his primary objective in life is to serve his generation and leave an enduring legacy for the generation yet unborn. He plans to focus more on the infrastructural development of the LG while paying significant attention to Youth and Women's development.

Kazeem Aina was the Chairman Planning Committee for Iganmode Cultural Festival, 2019, and Chairman Planning Committee for Chief Mrs. Sadat Onimole's 80th birthday and Book Launch. He is a member of Ota Rotary Club and a recipient of many awards.


2. Meet Samuel Omoniyi Faleye


Born 45 years ago in Ijoko Ota, the Political Science graduate who also has a degree in Economics is one of the young men who want to serve the people of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government as the Chairman.

Touched by the plight of the indigent people around him while growing up, Samuel decided to start a Non-Governmental Organization with the aim of providing succor in the area of Community Development, Economic Empowerment, Education, Guidance, and Counselling, etc. His several landmark projects can be seen in communities like Ijoko, Sango, Iju, and Atan.

Otunba Samuel Faleye is currently the Chairman of the Committee of Joint CDA Chairmen after serving as the Chairman of Wonderland CDA, Irewole Phase 2 in Iju Ota.

Among his initiative is the annual Otunba Samuel Faleye Inter-CDA Football Competition. He has also organized empowerment programs for Youths in Irewole Community. As a Community Leader, he championed projects such as Road rehabilitation, borehole drilling, and rural electrification just to mention a few. He aspired to represent the good people of Ota State Constituency in the House of Assembly during the last elections. Despite not clinching the ticket, he worked assiduously for the party to emerge at the polls.

If elected, he plans to invest in Health Care, Education, Economy, Youth and Women Development including Infrastructure

He works in the Aviation Industry and has investments in Agriculture, Real Estate, Logistics, and Hospitality. He is the founder of Otunba Samuel Faleye Foundation for Sustainable Grassroot Development. He is a recipient of many awards including the 2017 Community Man of the Year Award by Publishers of News Direct Newspaper. He was recently installed as the Gbobaniyi of Iju Ota by His Royal Majesty, Oba Prof. Abdulkabir Obalanlege, Olota of Ota.


3. Meet Sheriff Adewale Musa



Sheriff, born in the mid-70s is from Isolemo Ikowogbe in Iju Ota. He currently works in a Bank as a Fleet Manager and has held other leadership positions such as Secretary, Ota Youth Forum, Chairman, Constitution Review of National Association of Concerned Students of Ota (NACSO) et al.

Sheriff believes Politics should be a medium through which we can bring development to the people and make their lives better.

If elected as the Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, he plans to reform, elevate and liberate Ado-Odo/Ota LG. He is ready to provide purposeful leadership with impactful projects that will create an indelible mark in the heart of the people.

He was recently installed as Asiwaju of Iju Ota by His Royal Majesty, Oba Prof. Adeyemi Obalanlege, Olota of Ota


4. Meet Aroboto Rasheed Gbadebo


Aroboto is currently the youngest aspirant viewing for the office of the Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government. 

The 38-year-old Pharmacy Technician has been prominent in party politics and has held several leadership positions including the State Coordinator, APC Youth Wing, Ogun State, State Vice-Chairman, Dapo Abiodun Likeminds, and State Coordinator, Ogun State Youth Agenda.

Rasheed hails from Ado-Odo Town of the Local Government and has been actively involved in several youth empowerment programs.

He believes that aside from Football, Politics is another unifying factor in Nigeria. He is ready to change the wrong notion that Politics must be a do-or-die affair. He is of the opinion that the development of our community should be the primary objective of any Political Office Holder.

Aroboto plans to reposition Ado-Odo/Ota as the economic capital of Ogun State. If elected, he wants to pay attention to Infrastructure, education, Agriculture, and Youth Development.


5. Meet Bankole Solomon 



popularly known as BANKY is a native of Ota from Iworo Compound, Osi Quarters, Ijemo-Isoloshi ruling house. The 52-year-old Accountant was a former Consultant to former Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Political Affairs in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government. He was the LG Assistant Secretary of ACN and later became Ward Owner of APC, Ilogbo Ward after the exit of Amosun's group to APM.

Banky started his professional career as an  Audit Trainee with Adebayo Bankole & Co for two years before joining The Bells Comprehensive High School as the School Bursar. He also served as the School Bursar of the prestigious Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary for 22 years. He's currently the Bursar of C.M.S Grammar School, Bariga.

If elected as the Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, he plans to execute a Y.E.A.R.N agenda. Youth and Women Empowerment, Education Support, Adequate Healthcare, and Agricultural Support Programmes, Renovation of Government Structures and Non-parallel infrastructural and Community Development projects are his plans.

Banky believes that Politics is about development and he's ready to drive needed development in all sectors with innovation and creativity.

He's a former executive member of Satellite Club of Ota, Patron of The Boys Brigade, Konifewo Ota amongst other social leadership positions held, and currently the Charter President of Konifewo Lions Club.


6. Meet Kusika Oluwatosin.



A former Banker, now Businessman is also eyeing the office of the Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.

Kush as he is popularly referred to is from Atan Ward and currently the CDA Chairman of his Community.

The 43-year-old Businessman believes infrastructural development should be prioritized in Ado-Odo/Ota LG considering the rate at which the population is growing daily. He, therefore, pledges to focus on Good Roads, Education, Water, Security, Health, and Promotion of Unity amongst all residents regardless of their tribe and religion.
