Ogun Government Pledges Improved Water Supply and Conservation Efforts

The Ogun State government has assured residents of its commitment to improving water supply while promoting conservation practices to address the depletion of water resources.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Water Resources, Engineer Damilola Otubanjo, made this known in Abeokuta while speaking with journalists in commemoration of World Water Day. She emphasized the importance of responsible water use to minimize wastage and ensure long-term availability, aligning with this year's theme, *"Glacier Preservation."*

She further assured that the government is actively working to tackle water scarcity challenges across the state. Ongoing maintenance efforts, she noted, will significantly enhance water supply and ease the burden on residents, particularly in rural communities.
