Awujale Nominee Prince Tajudeen Bello Breaks Silence

 



The prince recently spoke in support of the Ogun State Government’s decision to pause the Awujale nomination process.


In a video, he said the suspension is backed by law and was done to prevent anything that could affect the integrity of the selection process. He also explained that the move was necessary and praised the government for putting peace and fairness first.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, has announced that the state have secured a landmark investment of up to $2.5 billion for Africa’s first Disneyland-style resort. While highlighting the state’s rapid economic growth and tourism potential, Abiodun revealed that Ogun’s economy has expanded from N3.5 trillion to N16 trillion over the past six years, ranking it among Nigeria’s fastest-growing economies. In a post via his X handle, the governor credited this growth to strategic investments in infrastructure, basic amenities, and tourism development, noting that Olumo Rock now generates about N20 million weekly following its renovation. The governor further disclosed that MAG Group recently visited Abeokuta and pledged to invest between $1.8 billion and $2.5 billion in hospitality and entertainment projects.
