Ogun State Deputy Governor Elect Restates Commitment to Youth Employability and Human Capital Development


The newly elected Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele has assured the youths of Ogun State of the new government's commitment to Youth Employability and Human Capital Development. While speaking to some youths in her home in Ota earlier today, the Deputy Governor elect expressed concern about the increasing rate of unemployability in the country. She expressed her worry on how many Nigerian graduates can't compose an error-free letter. She said there is the need to pay attention to human capital development in this country.

According to the Ota born Civil Engineer, there is the need to prepare our youths and graduates to have the requisite knowledge and experience in the corporate world before starting a business or becoming an entrepreneur. She therefore restated her commitment to developing the capacity of youths and making them employable.


Asiwaju Abayomi Oke, the Creative Director of Novent Concept and House of Representatives candidate in the last election visited the Deputy Governor Elect with 2019 Ali Baba's Spontaneity winner, Ovy Godwin and his partner who is equally a finalist of the Comedy Competition, Parkhage with Tunde Ogunbiyi, a Fashion Entrepreneur and Personal Assistant to Asiwaju Abayomi Oke.

The Deputy Governor commended the emerging comedy stars for maximising their talent and making Ota proud but encouraged them to diversify as comedy business doesn't have a long life span. She shared with them how she emerged as the Deputy Governorship candidate and her experience so far as a politician.
